Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and chocolate together. Stir until smooth.
- Remove from heat and whisk in sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, followed by vanilla extract.
- Sift the flour and cocoa powder together, then fold into the chocolate mixture just until combined.
Baking
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Serving
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on top.
- Drizzle with chocolate fudge sauce and sprinkle with toppings of your choice.
