Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. If using a store-bought pie crust, fit it into a pie dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  4. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing until just combined.
  5. Stir in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt until fully incorporated without over-mixing.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Baking
  1. Pour the brownie batter into the pie crust.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
  3. Remove when the center is still slightly jiggy for a gooey texture.
Cooling
  1. Allow the pie to cool completely before slicing to ensure gooey texture.
