- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded coconut, almond flour, maple syrup, and almond butter. Mix well to form a uniform dough.
- Press the mixture firmly into a lined baking dish, spreading evenly to the edges.
- Melt the dark chocolate with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the coconut almond base, spreading evenly.
- refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.
Serving
- Slice the bars into squares after the mixture has set.
- Serve chilled from the fridge for a refreshing treat.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Layer with parchment paper if stacking. These bars can be frozen for up to three months.
