Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg, vanilla extract, almond extract, and rose water. Mix until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and citrus zest.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredient mixture, blending until a dough forms.
  6. Fold in the freeze-dried fruits.
Baking
  1. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Use a fork to gently press the cookies flat, creating ridges for texture.
  3. Optionally, press edible flowers into the top of the cookies.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Decoration
  1. Remove cookies from the oven and let them cool completely on wire racks.
  2. Once cool, drizzle the glaze over the cookies and decorate with additional edible flowers.
  3. Allow the glaze to set before serving.

Store cookies in an airtight container to maintain their crispness. Layer with parchment to protect designs.
