Ingredients
  

For the Strawberry Puree
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled Use the ripest and most fragrant strawberries.
  • 1 tablespoon sugar Adjust based on the sweetness of the strawberries.
For the Cold Foam
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with chilled coconut cream for a dairy-free option.
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla bean paste Adds floral warmth.
  • 1 pinch sea salt Enhances sweetness of foam.
For the Matcha Base
  • 2 teaspoons ceremonial grade matcha Ensure high quality for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup milk Can be almond milk or oat milk for a lighter version.
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar For sweetness; alternatively, use maple syrup.

Method
 

Prepare Strawberry Puree
  1. In a saucepan, combine hulled strawberries and sugar over medium heat. Simmer until the strawberries release their juices, about 5-7 minutes. Blend until smooth and set aside.
Make Cold Foam
  1. In a mixing bowl, whip together heavy cream, vanilla bean paste, and a pinch of sea salt until soft peaks form.
Prepare Matcha Base
  1. In a bowl, whisk matcha with a small amount of hot water until dissolved.
  2. In a glass, add ice, then pour the milk over the ice, followed by the matcha whisked liquid.
Assemble the Strawberry Matcha Cloud
  1. Spoon the strawberry puree on top of the matcha latte base.
  2. Carefully spoon the cold foam on top of the strawberry layer.
  3. Serve immediately and enjoy the beautiful layers!

Notes

For an extra flavor boost, consider adding a sprinkle of matcha powder on top of the foam. This drink can also be made dairy-free using coconut cream and non-dairy milk alternatives.
