- Using a heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut out heart shapes from the pastry.
Baking
- Arrange the cut-out hearts on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Brush each heart with the beaten egg and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
