Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 1 cup Nut butter (peanut, almond, or cashew) Provides healthy fats and creaminess.
  • 1 cup Oats or crushed cookies Adds texture.
  • 1/2 cup Maple syrup or agave Acts as a sweetener.
Flavor Enhancers
  • 1/4 cup Cacao powder For a chocolaty flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Coconut oil Helps bind the mixture.
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract Enhances the flavor.
Optional Mix-ins
  • 1/4 cup Chopped nuts or dried fruits Adds texture and flavor.
  • 1 pinch Salt To balance sweetness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine nut butter, oats, and sweetener. Mix well until combined.
  2. Add cacao powder and coconut oil, followed by vanilla extract. Stir until the mixture is well combined.
  3. If desired, fold in any optional mix-ins such as chopped nuts or dried fruits.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a lined baking dish and press it down firmly.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to chill and firm up.
Serving
  1. Once chilled, cut into squares or bars and enjoy!

Notes

Store treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. They can also be frozen for longer storage.
