  • 1/4 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup Unsweetened almond milk Can substitute with oat milk or cashew cream.
Fillings
  • 1/2 cup Raspberry jam Or any preferred fruit preserve.
  • 1/2 cup Vegan cream cheese frosting For a creamy filling option.
Glaze and Decoration
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar For glazing.
  • 2 tbsp Almond milk To mix with powdered sugar for glazing.
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract For enhancing glaze flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, mix vegan butter, flour, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until combined.
  2. Add almond milk gradually until a dough forms. Wrap in plastic and chill for 30 minutes.
Baking
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out dough on a floured surface and cut into heart shapes.
  3. Place a spoonful of filling on half of the hearts and cover with the remaining hearts. Seal the edges.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Decorating
  1. Mix powdered sugar, almond milk, and vanilla extract to create the glaze.
  2. Once pastries are cool, drizzle with glaze and decorate as desired.
